About the Allotmenteers

The members of the Croughton Allotmenteers are all people who rent allotments from Croughton Parish Council. As recently as 2006, many of the village allotments were un-used and neglected. Since then more and more people have rented allotments and today all the plots are in use.

Allotment holders come from all walks of life. Some are gardening novices, while others have years of experience. What we have in common is an interest in growing fruit, veg and flowers, and there is a truly diverse range of produce growing all year round. Anyone can apply to rent a whole or half plot. If you are interested contact the Croughton Parish Clerk.
