The village hall

The Village Hall was opened by Colin Dexter in September 2003. It has transformed life in Croughton for many people and is now a bustling well used facility where you can dance, play short mat bowls or badminton, go to the cinema, attend dinners, plays, opera, send your child to playschool or summer activites or hold family celebrations – all without using your car.  Every village organisation (of which there are many) uses the Hall for a range of purposes.

Village Hall - Update
24th June 2017

We are looking for new members on the committee so please do drop us a line if you would like to be involved to whatever extent you like.  Sometimes it’s just good to get an opinion on decisions that need making or if you want to be more involved with the running that’s fine too.  We only meet for a couple of hours on the last Wednesday each month so the commitment isn’t too great.

We will be looking in the future at anything we can do to improve the Pocket Park by the allotments so if anyone has any suggestions or knows any issues with it, please let us know.

Those using the pavilion will be pleased to know that we are also planning a make-over for this building, quotes are being obtained.

Any maintenance or health & safety issue you come across, please let us know.  We do have an ongoing list but we may not have spotted something so always good to tell us.  Also any suggestions you may have for the hall – we are always open to new ideas to discuss.
